Selling Your Items: Clutter for Cash
Gena lives in Orange and will be your go-to person for selling items on Facebook. Send her your photos, any information you have on the item, and your preferred listing price and she will take care of posting online and communicating with perspective buyers. She will then be in touch with you for purchase price and item pick up. Gena takes a percentage of each sale. Learn more here.
Donation drop off: My Sister's Place, Ansonia
My Sister's Place's thrift store benefits victims of domestic violence. I love that the women in their program receive vouchers to shop at the store for free. Plus, they are super kind, friendly and appreciative when I drop off my donations. Just check their hours before you go (203.734.2960) and know that donations are accepted only via the back entrance. Donation drop-off: Goodwill
Sometimes convenience is THE priority when it comes to busy lives. Goodwill locations are everywhere in Connecticut and this makes them a go-to choice for me for donation drop-offs. Most locations will bring a large blue bin out to your car to make the process simple. For information on what to donate, check out this list.
